Current Research on Pheromones

The billion-dollar perfume industry would love to get their hands on the secret of pheromones. Some companies have invested many thousands of dollars into research on the role pheromones play in human sexual behavior. Animals use it, why not humans? So what is the research that is coming out of all this interest?

Currently, one researcher is looking into the benefits the odorless, at least consciously; chemicals can play in human sexual therapy. They acknowledge that appearance and self-confidence play a large part in the attraction game, but are also looking at the reproductive system as an emitter of pheromones as a great influence as well.

Research further shows that a man's essence is an important part of a woman's overall health. They help her to relax, put her in a good mood and help her be more fertile. And that is the crux of the issue, isn't it? Fertility is the dance that men and women are doing when they first meet. Pheromones seem to be able to help that dance get started.

There is much more research needed to be done on the effects of human pheromones. One thing is clear, however, they do have an effect in the animal kingdom. So much so that they have been used to control the reproductive habits of some insects. The research is so well concluded that pheromones have been marketed as a pest control device. Researchers are busy looking for the answers to the human pheromone question. One day researchers will be able to identify the chemical responsible for human attraction. It is clear in the meantime that the pheromones contained in the sweat of men have an affect on women.

Skeptics and proponents debate the existence of human pheromones. That very debate will lead to the necessary research into the human pheromone issue. Without healthy debate and skepticism researchers will not seek to find the answers. While we wait for the scientific answers, pheromones can help a man feel relaxed and confident when meeting women. And we already know that is a powerful attractor of the opposite sex.

Peter took tried and tested pheromone products on himself to answer the nagging question, do pheromones work?
